The Interfaith Network, in partnership with the City of Greater Dandenong, is offering you this opportunity during Diversity Week, the 15 – 21 March in an “Open House” program. The following Places of Worship will be open for you to see and visit, you will be welcomed by a leader or member of that faith community where you will learn about their beliefs, practices and community. All are requested to remove their shoes before entering the Sikh Gurdwara, Hindu and Buddhist Temples and Islamic Mosque, and in the Hindu Temple head coverings should be removed. Women entering the Mosque are asked to cover their heads and wear clothing which covers arms to wrists and legs to ankles, men are asked to cover their heads in the Jewish Synagogue and all are asked to cover their heads in the Gurdwara.
