Tour Features
An opportunity to visit the places of worship of the local faith communities, including:
• The Hindu Temple in Carrum Downs
• A Sikh Gurdwara in Blackburn or Keysborough
• A Mosque, either in Dandenong or Noble Park
• A Buddhist Temple, either Springvale South, Noble Park, or Keysborough
• A Christian Church, either Western or Eastern tradition
• Indigenous sacred sites
• Spiritual traditions An opportunity to see the diversity within our area, focusing on the religious and faith dimension of multiculturalism. An opportunity to be welcomed by a member/leader of each faith, and learn from them something of their belief, practices and community here in Australia. This service is sponsored by the City of Greater Dandenong, with the coordination of a member of the interfaith network.
Tour Cost
A payment of $25 up front to secure bookings for a tour. This payment covers:
• Transportation
• 'Many Faiths, One People' hardcopy booklet which explains each of the faiths
